G-Star Raw Launches Denim Art NFT With Rarible
G-NO the Rhino is getting a digital upgrade.
NFT’s have been trending across different spheres of society. From Bitcoin fanatics investing in this new cryptocurrency, to fashion brands using it as a way to enter the Metaverse, NFTs are on everyone’s mind. Although there’s still confusion surrounding NFT’s, there’s no denying the control they have on the global market. G-Star Raw is the newest fashion brand to enter the NFt universe with their new denim art.
In collaboration with Rarible, a software that allows users to design and sell custom crypto assets, G-Star Raw creates their first denim art NFT. The fashion brand uses their mascot, G-NO the Rhino as the star of their new NFT. G-NO is made of digital denim, combining G-Star Raw’s roots in denim with the new technological age. The non-binary mascot is just as rebellious as their name suggests, and G-Star Raw believes they’ll stir the pot in the digital realm.
There are 10 unique G-NO avatars available. Each avatar highlights a pivotal moment in the brand’s history. The auction will go live on Rarible and the bidding with start at 0.1 ETH. Collectors will not only gain access to a one-of-one G-NO avatar, but own a piece of the G-Star Raw legacy. Each buyer will receive an exclusive product that matches their NFT design and the story behind their NFT, adding an intimate and personal touch to the entire process.
G-Star Raw wants this first NFT collection to be the start of a collaborative digital community. The brand is hopeful that this collection will open up a discussion between their consumers and them in order to navigate what they should do in this new web 3 space. All contributors to the new digital space receive a complementary NFT token that can access exclusive benefits, such as limited product releases, event tickets and future Metaverse activations.
The NFT collection drops on Rarible on March 30th. Consumers can view the project on the G-Star Raw website.
