Ganni Drops Sustainable Loungewear Called “Software”

With 11 new cozy tees, hoodies and sweats made from recycled materials, GANNI makes comfort ethical.

The new software isn’t spreadsheets and operating systems—it’s recycled polyester and cotton.

Scandinavian label GANNI announced a new line of cozy, low-impact loungewear called “Software,” a collection of hoodies, sweatpants, and other bundled-up basics made with repurposed fabrics that adhere to the brand’s “moral obligation” to minimize their environmental impact.

The Software collection has hoodies, sweats and tees in neutral tones, made with ethically-sourced yarn and a combination of 50% post-consumer recycled polyester and 50% recycled cotton from plastic bottles and manufacturing scraps.

The contemporary Copenhagen-based ready-to-wear label started accumulating cult popularity in the late 2010s, collecting clout for its sleek, simple and easy designs that can be easily paired or mixed-and-matched. GANNI is committed to an ever-evolving conversation about sustainability, and has worked with 3 UN Sustainable Development Goals, Gender Equality, Responsible Production and Consumption and Climate Action, and has introduced over 30 responsible initiatives in the past year.

Dropping in two parts, the full collection has 11 loungewear essential pieces in black, gray and white color options, all with the GANNI logo embroidered across the front or back.

GANNI’s “Software” drop is available on the brand’s website and will be available in the US on October 14.
