For their third creative partnership, GANNI and Barbour launch a nine-piece collection of GANNI x Barbour outerwear and soft accessories, each imbued with an energetic twist. GANNI x Barbour 3.0 showcases the fusion of Danish and British design for a collision of two worldsーBarbour’s South Shields, UK headquarters, and the Copenhagen offices of GANNI’s origin. GANNI’s playful patterns and bright colors intersect with the iconic, British heritage styles of Barbour’s silhouettes.
For their most recent alliance, center stage is occupied by outerwear. Donning nature-inspired earthy tones, fluently offset by Barbour’s signature tartan (a plaid-like, checker print), each piece is accented with the neon green logo of both brands, a talisman of teamwork. The waxed cotton staples include two new silhouettes: a belted trench coat with rustic, plaid lining and a cozy duffle in black and brown. For a distinctly GANNI-esque look, the collection’s anorak with a matching reversible hood features GANNI’s signature leopard print, while two oversized tote bags are characteristically Barbour with statement tartan detailing. The line is supplemented by a set of wool scarves in beige and intarsia check.
The eclectic partnership stems out of a growing friendship between the two brands, one that centers around a shared commitment to community, responsibility, and a personal approach to fashion. Both GANNI and Barbour are family-owned, and their mutual emphasis on craftsmanship, heritage, and self-expression has culminated in a years-long relationship that has spanned several collaborations.
