GCDS Celebrates Youth and Diversity for Spring

GCDS taps Alton Mason among its diverse cast for “Futuro Beach SS19”.

Shot by Brianna Capozzi and styled by Anna Trevelyan, GCDS’s Spring Summer 2019 campaign is a pop sensation. Exploring youth and diversity, creative director Giuliano Calza tapped some of the greatest power players in youth culture today to star in the campaign. Model of the year Alton Mason, singer and model Esther McGregor, DJ Yung Taco and Lily McMenamy all appear in “Futuro Beach SS19.”

The fresh and vibrant direction speaks to a bright future ahead for not only the brand, but for our culture. With many steps taken towards inclusion and representation by a host of different designers, this campaign serves as a confident testament to that progression. Highlighting individuality and embracing difference has always been at the core of the Milan-based streetwear brand.
