Gentle Monster Launches Second Collaboration with Blackpink’s Jennie

The metal-infused, seven-piece eyewear collection is now available for purchase.

After a successful debut collaboration inspired by childhood, K-pop superstar Jennie and luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster have teamed up again. This time, the pair are embracing fantasy with a seven item collection of optical frames and sunglasses titled ‘Jentle Home.’

A member of the hugely popular K-pop group BLACKPINK, Jennie is no stranger to the fashion industry. Starring in campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and sitting front row at fashion week, the artist is surely a force to be reckoned within the industry. Too, the superstar recently teamed up with luxury house Chanel on ‘The Chanel Book,’ a collection of images documenting international talents. Now, Jennie is once again joining forces with the beloved Korean eyewear label.

The collaboration features three rounded optical options, three wide-frame sunglasses, and one pair designed with flashy crystal detailing. The glasses arrive in a variety of color ways—pearl white, jet black, metallic—that are fit for a variety of occasions. With oversized square frames, rectangular acetate shapes, and cat-eye options, the line offers a range of silhouettes to choose from.

Photographed by Hugo Comte, the collaboration’s accompanying campaign sees Jennie in a fantasy-filled garden sporting the collection’s various eyewear. Of course, the star is surrounded by blooming flowers and flowing pastel petals, underscoring the surrealist feel of the collection.

Not only available for purchase online, Gentle Monster will host five popups in cities around the world that will recreate the scenery of a serene village. The select popups will also feature ‘Fruits of Paradise’ packages—designed by Jennie herself—as well as custom designed ‘Jentle Garden’ masks and flowers.

The ‘Jentle Garden’ collaboration is now available for purchase at www.gentlemonster.com, www.hbx.com, and in select Gentle Monster stores.
