Gentle but fierce, founded in 2011, Gentle Monster has been shaking up the eyewear industry with its experimental frames that redefine fashion sunglasses. What if I tell you that the brand is bringing fashionable optical glasses to life? In an attempt to discover individuality and identity, the fashion eyewear company is launching the first optical collection and campaign titled “GENTLE.”

The campaign presents a diverse lineup of twelve artists, models and influencers across the globe. Wearing the glasses, each of them is shot against the context of blank space. Shot by Photographer Ari Versluis, the campaign searches the depths between individuality and conformity. Look closely, you’ll notice the nuances: through shared space, each character is presented with their own unique expression. The glasses, of course, have become a symbol to express themselves. 

A blank space offers endless possibilities. The synergy between “GENTLE” and the individual fosters diversity and inclusivity. The collection includes fifteen handcrafted styles with a collection of sixty frames in various colors and transition lenses. WIth Gentle Monster, you don’t need to hide your true self under the glasses. Feel free to throw off your contact lens, pick up a glass to present yourself. 

Retailing from $249-$280, the optical line launches worldwide on September 10th ’21, online and at Gentle Monster flagships.
