In an ode to the sandy town of Deauville, a cherished location where Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opened up one of her first boutiques ever in, CHANEL’s Creative Director Virginie Viard deemed it fitting that we revisit the house’s history for the upcoming autumnal season.

With a lineup chockfull of wide-brimmed straw hats (brooch adorned, of course), colorful tweed sets, and metallic laced eveningwear, you can bet that V was there to witness it all from the front row to the camera pit as we tapped photographer Schohaja to capture some of the best looks as they went down the runway.
