Mark your calendars people, because the new Pyer Moss ‘Sculpt’ sneakers are dropping very very soon. And by soon, we mean literally tomorrow, on the 12th of December. If you’re not ready, it’s time to get ready.

The sneaker in question that we’re getting tomorrow is a beautiful variation of the brands’ first independent shoe, the Sculpt sneakers. While the first variant was a contrasting black and yellow shoe, the newest addition will be a very sunny and bright, white and yellow. The sneakers will be launched with a limited edition Pyer Moss ready-to-wear collection as well, which comes in men’s, women’s and unisex styles.

The futuristic design of the shoe is emblematic of the Pyer Moss vision. The brands’ founder and Creative Director, Kerby Jean-Raymond has described the brand as an art project or a social experiment, and it’s hard not to see the artistic influences within the unconventional sneaker design. Pyer Moss is on a mission to stimulate discourse and provoke thought through it’s compelling storytelling, and it’s clearly working, because since 2018, Jean-Raymond has been winning one prestigious award after the other, his latest being the Harlem Fashion Row’s Designer of the Year and the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year in 2020.
