Shown at the ever-cherished Brooklyn Museum, Maria Grazia Chiuri brought the glitterati of the fashion week show circuit to the bustling streets of Brooklyn to celebrate Dior’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection. With an inspiring visual dialogue between two of fashion’s most important capitals, New York and Paris, the front row was packed with the who’s who of New York. Among them, style sensation Charlotte Groeneveld was there to witness all of the magic—and even gave V an inside look at her show-ready process.

“It’s Dior Day! I arrived at the Mark Hotel uptown, not too far from where I live, to shoot for the show tonight!

The room had the perfect natural light so I took some detail photos before Jeff arrived. The bathroom was setup with all my favourite Dior Beauty items.

My makeup routine is always quite simple and with an emphasis on skin rather than makeup. I love a natural look but for tonight I want to do something special for the eyes, stay tuned…

My look is giving “civil ceremony” meets Jackie as first lady. The details of the pearls are divine!

A moment before heading out to shoot this beautiful look outside on the most beautiful spring day. The light is just insanely working for us… the shoes give the look a little edge and I am so into it. It really reflects me and my style; feminine with an edge.

No photos allowed! Why do these flash hallway photos look way too fun… take me back!

“There is no place like New York City… a little appreciation for the beautiful look outside on our way to the venue.

Wait no, I decided this weather needed a sleek pony. It is too warm and the wind made my hair go in every direction. Great for the photos but I wanted to make is a chic entrance so we quickly sleeked it back and added a little Dior bow from the makeup bag.

A spectacular venue deep down into Brooklyn; the Brooklyn museum, turned into a Dior world. A few little moments before the show… “what’s in my bag” and a front row moment.
