Givenchy And Disney Are Collaborating For Inaugural Collection

Givenchy and Disney are collaborating on a new style line that features some of Disney’s most beloved and recognized characters.

Givenchy and Disney have come together in an unexpected way. The luxury fashion house has announced The Wonder Gallery, an imaginative collaboration featuring a limited-edition capsule line comprising luxury ready-to-wear styles through the vision of Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. As a global brand known for its cherished characters, adventure-filled movies, and life-like animations, this collection takes inspiration from the characters and animals many have grown up with and adored.

With the launch, Givenchy has given a glimpse into the collection’s world through twelve and thirteen-second teaser videos. These visuals feature silhouettes of notable Disney figures, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who first debuted in 1927 as part of the animated short film Trolley Troubles, pups from 101 Dalmatians, Bambi, and Ice Queen Elsa with the jolly, summer-loving snowman Olaf from the Frozen franchise.

Fused with Williams’ vision, this new line can expect an intermixing of cutting-edge styles with Disney cartoon signatures from decades past to now. Earlier this year, Williams unveiled his second Givenchy collection as part of the Fall/Winter 2022 season at Paris Fashion Week.
