Givenchy Opens New SoHo Location

The brand continues their North American expansion with a store in SoHo

Givenchy opened their first downtown New York City location last month. The store, located at 94 Greene Street in the heart of SoHo, is the brand’s sixth freestanding location in the Americas.

The opening is a part of Givenchy’s longterm growth acceleration plan in North America, which has become one of their hottest markets. “A key destination for luxury, SoHo’s vibrant retail neighborhood will give us the opportunity to serve our ever-growing client base,” CEO Renaud de Lesquen said. “This opening represents a new chapter for Givenchy as we continue to scale our business in the United States and internationally.”

The new store will carry the entire women’s and men’s Ready-to-Wear lines and accessory collections, along with a select number of exclusive capsules and made-to-wear items. The first collection that the store will stock in the Fall 2022 Pre-Collection, which features Matthew M. Williams’s sharp designs, denim, and tailoring. The first accessories showcased include the new TK-360 sneaker and the iconic Antigona and Kenny bags.

Outside of the clothing, the SoHo store will be the first in the US which features Givenchy’s latest retail concept, leveraging contrasting tones and materials. From the exterior facade to the interior stone-gray palette, the store speaks to the color of the streets of SoHo and the neighborhoods historical buildings.
