Givenchy’s Artistic Director Clare Waight Keller introduced the ID93 handbag during the House’s Spring/Summer 2020 show as a means for complimenting the oversized silhouettes and gentle attitudes in the collection. Inspired by the minimalism from the decade it’s named after, ID93 has distinguished texture and character that pay homage to that era. 

Detailed with knots and a 2G signature, the straps that define the handbag are twisted, braided, and stitched by hand. Some styles use the season’s favorite natural material of hand-woven raffia, while each variation of the handbag includes a Givenchy chain motif.

With the ID93 coming in three variations of size, each with a roomy, zipped main compartment, the choices are a crossbody, medium, or large. The crossbody has an adjustable strap while the medium and large styles see a main compartment bordered by open pockets on both sides and interchangeable shoulder straps in either hand-twisted or flat.
