Founded in New York City, the David Yurman brand is known for its sleek and innovative jewelry and timepiece designs, and now ahead of their newest launch, the brand acquired social media it-girl and quiet luxury queen Sofia Richie Grainge to star in the accompanying campaign. Setting the scene in California’s captivating Kellogg Doolittle House in Joshua Tree, the Fall 2023 campaign was shot against an organic architecturally pleasing landscape.
Richie Grainge exudes the ideal David Yurman aesthetic: effortless laid-back luxury, perfectly balanced with sophisticated and modern jewelry. Creatively directed by David Yurman President Evan Yurman and captured by fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the new campaign was intellectually styled by Elin Svahn.
“David Yurman embodies everything that I’m trying to express with my aesthetic—with how I dress, and how I want to feel, which for me is very timeless and elegant,” says Richie Grainge in a statement. “This campaign is about paving your own way: really being confident, taking direction, and being the leader of your own pack.”
The Sculpted Cable’s original helix structure is reimagined in a modest, lower-profile design, with each ridge delicately carved and polished to an optimal luminance. The bracelet’s wave-esque designs mirror the fullness of the original Cable, artfully combining timeless craftsmanship with modern sensibility. The new bangle will be available in 18K yellow, rose, and white gold, with one version trickled in 170 sparkling hand-set diamonds totaling up to 1.7 carats, effortlessly placed by some of David Yurman’s artisans.
In regards to Richie Grainge, President Evan Yurman noted, “Sofia is a style icon with endless charm, and we’re delighted to collaborate with her. She is truly the perfect ambassador to launch these new Sculpted Cable designs, which are the newest evolution of our signature house motif: Cable.”
