Grailed Introduces Womenswear to their Marketplace

The second-hand superpower is expanding its selection.

Today Grailed, the community-driven online marketplace offering luxury, streetwear, and vintage pieces from top brands, announces its official venture into womenswear, adding women’s pieces to the platform favored by gen-z streetwear enthusiasts.

When asked what inspired the expansion, Grailed CEO Arun Gupta said, “Grailed has always been about making fashion personal and accessible, no matter your style or identity,” he followed, “Now we’re bringing this mission to more people, putting the future of fashion in the hands of an even bigger community.”

Grailed kicked off the womenswear launch with a campaign editorializing the women’s offerings for Fall. The campaign stars included Richie Shazam, Alani Figueroa, Lindsay Vrckovnik, Amalie Gassmann, and Blake Abbie, each representing unique style perspectives that make up the current Grailed community and the community Grailed hopes to be building with their womenswear expansion. Also, highlighting inclusivity and diversity that is central to the brands’ community and image.

This expansion is directly on grailed.com and the Grailed iOS app, rather than coming to life on a separate platform. With this expansion, Grailed is working towards offering its loyal community a more inclusive experience, one that is driven by personal style versus overly gendered categories.

Now, upon logging into the Grailed app and creating an account, community members can personalize their shopping feed by selecting to browse womenswear, menswear, or both in one holistic experience.

Users can also further refine their feed by selecting their preferred brands and designers, making finding their next investment piece or vintage gem easier and faster. Featured brands span luxury (think Chanel, Dior, Prada, and Bottega Venetta), emerging contemporary (like Ganni, The Row, and Telfar), streetwear (similar to Stussy, Aime Leon Dore, and Nike), and vintage.

This womenswear expansion also comes off the heels of the announcement that Grailed will be joining GOAT Group. The merger hopes to accelerate further the growth of the Grailed brand and its impact on fashion, culture, and the resale market at large. But, Grailed will continue to operate independently.
