Grimes and Elon Musk announced they were having a baby back in January with a very scandalous Instagram post, and now, that baby’s arrival has been confirmed in a slew of tweets from Musk himself. The baby boy is the first for the 32-year-old singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, while Musk, 48, has five sons from a previous marriage. In addition to the baby’s existence, the name was also revealed, and it’s exactly what we’d expect from the otherworldly duo: X Æ A-12 Musk.

Throughout her pregnancy, Grimes remained very real with her audience, even opening about her decision to have ac child with Musk in an interview with Rolling Stones. “For a girl, it’s sacrificing your body and your freedom,” she says in the digital cover story. It’s a pretty crazy sacrifice and only half of the population has to do it. It was really profound to me when I decided I was going to do it, to actually go through the act of…unprotected sex. I’m just like, I have sacrificed my power in this moment. I have, like, capitulated, And I have spent my whole life avoiding that situation. I have never capitulated to anything, so it was just a profound commitment.”

Grimes has yet to confirm her newborn’s birth and there are currently no photos circulating, but it’s safe to say the power couple is safe and happy with their baby. Stay tuned for updates!
