Gucci Beauty Adds Three Limited Edition Shades to Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipsticks

Gucci Beauty takes inspiration from Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Gucci Beauty has officially introduced three new shades to its Rouge à Lèvres Satin lipsticks line. The new red, pink, and orange colors were selected by the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele with inspiration from the glam looks of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

The Rouge à Lèvres Satin lipsticks are undoubtedly one of the best, creamiest, and most lightweight lipsticks in the game. They’re also long-lasting, even for those mask-wearing moments we now know so well. The newest additions include “The Girl in Paris,” “No More Orchids,” and “Maggie Scarlett,” all of which celebrate classic beauty and a dash of nostalgia.

The added lipsticks also feature brand new packaging – a radiant blue-green cap and a golden base.

In a press release, Michele shared: “I thought back to the lipsticks I saw in my life, when I was little, my mum’s lipstick, who was always inspired by the ’50s, and I wanted to give it the most powerful meaning, that of the Hollywood divas and the mythology of cinema, which first put the lips in the spotlight.”

These lipsticks are certainly not Gucci Beauty’s only additions this year. After launching its face powder and eyebrow pencil earlier this year, Gucci Beauty was hard at work expanding its summer collection last month, which includes nail polishes and a bronzer.

Gucci Beauty’s Rouge à Lèvres Satin lipsticks retail for $42 USD each and can be purchased online or at offline retail stores.
