Gucci Celebrates the Launch of Their First Genderless Watch Line

Celebrating the launch of Grip — the first genderless watch line developed entirely under Alessandro Michele’s creative direction — Gucci hosted a celebration at their New York store on Wooster Street. To go along with the newly launched product, there were cocktails, small bites and a DJ set by Hank Korson.

In preparation for the event, Gucci invited skateboarders and artists from different cities around the world to participate in a digital project and share their personal stories. Images, artworks and videos of the talents, their friends and families were then presented in the Gucci Wooster screening room.

The Grip collection is in itself a nod to the iconic skater style, its name being an allusion to the way that the rider’s sneakers stick to the grip tape on a skateboard.

Sleek designs for any and all to enjoy — available now. #GucciGrip
