Jessica Chastain had a weekend to remember, ending with an Oscars win and beginning with a private dinner party hosted by Gucci in her honor. Held on Saturday, March 26 at the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Beverly Hills, the event was an intimate affair honoring the Academy Award nominee.

Guests included Gucci CEO and President Marco Bizzarri, David Greenbaum, Alexander Gilkes, Anne Hathaway, Edgar Ramirez, Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego Saldana, Maria Sharapova, and more. Food and drink specialties were carefully created by Gucci Osteria’s Michelin Star award winning chef, Mattia Agazzi.

The private dinner preceded the 94th annual Academy Awards the following evening, in which Chastain took home the Oscar for best actress for her role as Tammy Faye Bakker in the biopic “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.” During her speech, Chastain made a statement regarding Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

“We’re faced with discriminatory and bigoted legislation that is sweeping our country with the only goal of further dividing us. There’s violence and hate crimes being perpetuated on innocent civilians all over the world. And in times like this, I think of Tammy and I’m inspired by her radical acts of love,” Chastain said during her speech. "And for any of you out there who do in fact feel hopeless or alone, I just not you to know you are unconditionally loved for the uniqueness that is you.”

Jessica Chastain went monochromatic as she donned a black all-over Gucci knit dress featuring a white sequined collar. She paired the mini dress with black tights and black leather high heel platforms.

Anne Hathaway made a statement in Gucci Love Parade look 60—a black canvas bomber jacket contrasted by red stitching and Hollywood Babylon embroidery detail on the back—atop of a black lace cutout bodysuit, matching black canvas belted skirt with red stitching detail, and black patent leather high heel sandals.

Zoe Saldana stunned in Gucci Aria look 31: a camel embroidered Gucci canvas belted jacket with leather detailing met a matching camel all-over embroidered GG canvas A-line skirt, paired with a gold metallic leather Jackie 1961 mini bag.
