This past weekend, the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries joined forces at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) to honor artist Judy Baca and filmmaker David Fincher. Gucci’s Creative Director Sabato De Sarno served as co-chair of the gala with Leonardo DiCaprio and introduced Gucci’s first evening wear collection by de Sarno titled ‘Ancora Notte’, bringing the runway to the museum.

Billie Eilish, Brad Pitt, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Ben Affleck, Emma Chamberlain, and Halle Berry are just a few of the many guests dressed in Gucci to the event, where a special performance by Lenny Kravitz graced invitees after their dinner prepared by three-time Michelin Star Award Winner Chef Mattia Agazzi of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Beverly-Hills.

Furthering Gucci Ancora, which redefined the house’s codes with a new day wardrobe, Ancora Notte aims to further develop this new vision, after dark. Vittoria Ceretti, Mariacarla Boscono, Kirsty Hume, and Abbey Lee wore Ancora Notte at the gala in celebration, as well as fresh faces that debuted along the Gucci Ancora runway including Jiahui Zhang, Fadia Ghaab, Nyajuok, Violet Hume, Agel Akol, and more.

De Sarno also revealed his first steps into formal menswear, with Pedro Pascal, A$AP Rocky, Elliot Page, and Andrew Garfield who attended the event wearing head-to-toe Gucci, highlighting the classic Italian ‘90s straight fit, adorned with the archival Round Interlocking G button, making its official comeback as a signature piece.

As an invaluable partner to the museum and presenting sponsor of the event, Gucci’s initiative to raise proceeds from the Art+Film Gala goes toward LACMA’s initiative to make film more central in the museum’s programming, while also funding the museum’s broader mission.
