In typical fashion, Alessandro Michele put on a fantastical show of epic proportions. Notable attendees that arrived at the Gucci Hub in Milan were transported to a pale green operating room that was emphasized with PVC walls, plastic waiting chairs, operating tables and ultra-bright LED lights that hung overhead—transforming the space into a surreal surgical room equipped with Michele’s outlandish and far-out designs.

Known for his out-of-the box concepts Michele left no detail out and ushered in his signature penchants for bold prints, shimmering fabrics, and wide structured pieces that brought his distinct vision to life. Additionally, opulent printed coats, unconventional tailored suits, and sweeping gowns capped off Michele’s indulgent flair for drama. As an added bonus, a model was seen carrying a decapitated head—a shocking accessory that only Michele could pull off in bold fashion.

Since Alessandro Michele took the helm at Gucci, the visionary designer has fueled new life into the Italian fashion house, combining his distinct aesthetic and transformative abilities for crafting truly enthralling collections. Click through to see the utterly fantastical show.
