Gucci is back to business as usual and rolling out the next campaign in line for the anticipated Cruise 2018 collection. Shot in Rome, the campaign beautifully displays raw and candid representations of subjects in their homes and local gardens captured by British photographer Mick Rock.

Often referred to as “The Man Who Shot the Seventies”, Rock is well revered for his captivating images of musicians from the era such as, Blondie, David Bowie, Lou Reed and Queen. Rock’s experience around trend-setting and vivacious rock stars served him well for his role of photographing a huge cast of eccentric and unconventional characters. “What helped a lot is the fact that I got constant stimulation from the clothes because they’re so fabulous they’re colorful. And then of course there’s the personality of Alessandro, who’s an open, giving force,” the photographer said.

The colorfully shot campaign features a diverse range of ages and faces, all dressed in the collection inspired by ancient civilizations. Click below to view the campaign in full.
