Joining what feels like everybody, Gwyneth Paltrow now has her own podcast. The difference is that her podcast's inaugural episode features Oprah. The Goop Podcast is a health podcast where Paltrow and goop's CCO Elise Loehnen "chat with leading thinkers, culture changers, and industry disrupters—from doctors to creatives, CEOs to spiritual healers—about shifting old paradigms and starting new conversations." Yeah, pretty sure Oprah qualifies.

"Don't hold anything too tightly," Oprah advises in a clip at the podcast's beginning. "Just wish for it, want it, let it come from the intention of real truth for you, and if it's supposed to be yours, it will show up. And it won't show up until you stop holding it so tightly." And with an hour and 15 minutes left to go, you'd be wise to grab a pen and paper for note-taking.

If you've ever wondered how Oprah seems to emit a spiritual aura from the heavens, it might be transcendental meditation. "For me, it's a conscious working model to stay fully present here and now, and I practice it. If I'm at the sink, putting a cup in the sink, I'm walking down the stairs, I'm walking up the stairs, I am in that moment conscious of 'my hand is on the rail. Gee, one foot is in front of the other.' I'm fully just there. I'm just there. Every part of it is beauty to me."

Other topics touched on include the Parkland teenagers' push for gun control and how they remind Oprah of the Freedom Riders, tabloids, A Wrinkle in Time, the #MeToo movement, and much more. Listen to the first of many goop podcasts to come on iTunes here.
