Haider Ackermann Enters The World of Jacques Marie Mage In New Collaboration

The limited-edition eyewear collection is now available

Haider Ackermann is known for designs that are equally beautiful, sensual, and sophisticated. As the creative director of Tom Ford, his venture into luxury, limited-edition eyewear comes as little surprise. For this partnership, Ackermann designed a collection in collaboration with Jacques Marie Mage. According to the brand, “the collaboration brings together JMM’s commitment to artisanal precision with Haider Ackermann’s singular vision.”

Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) is renowned for its limited-edition luxury eyewear, designed in Los Angeles and handcrafted in Italy and Japan. “Haider is, for me, one of the most accomplished fashion designers of the last 15 to 20 years,” says JMM founder and creative director Jérôme Mage. “He’s certainly one of the best creative directors in the world, and it’s a great honor to be able to work with him.”

The collection comprises three signature styles: Melchior, Balthazar, and Gaspard. Melchior offers a bold rectangular silhouette accented by subtle nautical influences, while Balthazar features a rounded frame adorned with an arrowhead motif. Gaspard, meanwhile, presents a refined rectangular shape with distinctly midcentury-inspired sensibilities. Across all styles, custom hinges and signature precious metals underscore the collection’s craftsmanship. Each pair is presented in a black leather collector’s box and accompanied by a silk scarf inspired by Ackermann’s personal style.
