After months of waiting, Hailey Bieber has finally released her ominous beauty line, Rhode. Bieber first announced that she had a beauty-based project in the works on Instagram in February 2021. Captioning a series of selfies “Glazed ??skin all 2022. Tell a friend,” Bieber caused fans to wonder if she was creating the next celebrity beauty brand. In November of the same year, Bieber confirmed suspicions by announcing Rhode on her Youtube channel. Now, the products that will give us the glazed donut skin of dreams are finally here.

Rhode made its debut yesterday with three products: the Peptide Glazing Fluid, the Barrier Restore Cream, and the Peptide Lip Treatment. Described as “a line of curated skincare essentials”, the three products are key essentials to getting glowing skin.

The Peptide Glazing Fluid is the “signature step to dewy, glazed skin.” The product hydrates and plumps the skin. Niacinamide works to nourish and brighten, while peptides target fine lines and plump the skin. Hyaluronic acid seals in hydration and replenishes cell moisture. Marula oil supplies fatty acids to help soften and support the skin barrier.

The Barrier Restore Cream uses shea butter, squalane, peptides, açai, and niacinamide to hydrate and soothe skin. This product works to make the skin softer over time. Rounding out the list is the Peptide Lip Treatment. Coming in three different flavors, Watermelon Slice, Unscented, and Salted Caramel, this lip treatment aims to naturally plump the lips. The formula leaves lips looking glossy while working to promote hydration from within.

In her cover story with Allure, Bieber shares that she was ordering all kinds of different skin care to figure out what she wanted her collection to do. She said, “I found that the most tried-and-true stuff was the solidly formulated products that were affordable, where I could tell people kept on going back to, and that’s what I kept going back to as well.” After receiving rave feedback from makeup artists who used the products on their clients, Bieber knew she had something special.

As of now, all Rhode products are available to shop exclusively on the Rhode website. There’s no telling if Beiber will follow in the footsteps of celebrity skincare lines and sell her products in Sephora and other beauty stores.
