What’s more American than blue jeans and Hailey Bieber? In honor of the original blue jean’s 146th birthday, Levi’s has tapped Bieber to front a new campaign. The latest riff on the OG blue jean, commonly known as Levi’s 501s, the commemorative collection ranges from skinny to short-short 501 styles—all stamped with their very own “Hailey” patch detail. 

Despite the 501 style’s deep roots in workwear, the collab arrives in time for summer carnival. “Levi’s® wants everyone to get out and customize 501®s for festival season collection,” said the brand in its release. As the Hailey x Levi’s campaign, shot by Karla and Matthew Welch proves, workwear and “working it” are hardly mutually exclusive.
