Hannah Montana Items Head To Julien’s Auctions Music Icons
Miley Stewart items will be sold in NYC next month and earnings will go to charity
Millennial dreams will come true on May 18th for a few select people with enough money to purchase Hannah Montana merchandise, costumes and props at Julien’s Actions in NYC and online. The Disney Channel show, which ran from 2006-2011, became a favorite among younger audiences and propelled Miley Cyrus’s career from daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus to pop-star and future twerker.
One keen fan of the show about a teenage girl living a double life as a pop star was Jason Gluck. He ran the MileyWorld fan club and from 2006-2008 amassed a would-be valuable collection of memorabilia and more. In true Disney moral-teaching form, Gluck has now decided to auction off these items and give all the proceeds to charity Wilder Minds, Inc.
As one can imagine, these items aren’t selling for a small price. Think much more and then double it. Some examples of what will be part of the collection include a black customized jacket estimated to be around $3,000-5,000; a pair of Best Of Both World’s tour sneakers worth $2,000-4,000 and costumes from $400-1,200. The location can be found on the Hard Rock website as well as the registration form and other information for bidders. See below to preview some of the items.
