The SoCal goddess teased us with her cover of Sublime’s 1996 song “Doin’ Time” earlier this month in a trailer for the upcoming documentary following the California rockstars’ road to fame. The highly anticipated Sublime, directed by Bill Guttentag, debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival back in April scoring notable reviews from critics.

As Lana stated in the trailer for the documentary, “Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to at least one Sublime song, they epitomized the SoCal vibe and made a genre and sound totally their own.”

She announced her forthcoming sixth album last fall titled Norman Fucking Rockwell, which was initially due to debut in March. Although we have yet to hear the new release date, we have since been blessed with three singles co-produced by Jack Antonoff titled, “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Venice Bitch,” and “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have-but i have it.”
