Sónar Lisboa makes its electric return to the heart of the Portuguese capital for the 3rd rendition of the festival. Based in Lisbon’s Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Sónar Lisboa is set to feature emerging and established artists in a performance of more than 55 local and international artists. Paired with a three-part installation at Estufa Fria, Sónar Lisboa is sure to create an astounding and innovative festival experience for 2024.

Once again, Sónar Lisboa will feature Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night. Taking place over March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th in Parque Eduardo VII, Sónar will bring two days and two nights of music, creativity, and technology to the Portuguese capital. A mix of indoor and outdoor stages will diversify the listening experience for Sónar by Day on Saturday and Sunday. Sónar by Night will take place entirely on the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes’ indoor stage, with non-stop music on Friday and Saturday nights. Estufa Fria, the lush gardens of Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, is slated to host a Sónar+D program with activities spanning all three days of the festival. Conferences, concerts, and audiovisual installations are among the soon-to-be-announced details for the program.

Sónar Lisboa shows the best of Lisbon to the world and brings the best of the world to Lisbon. With stages set for two nights and two days of music from talents like Paul Kalkbrenner, Sevdaliza, Tiga & Hudson, Shygirl, Branko, and Oneohtrix Point Never; and DJ sets from Bonobo, Eliza Rose, 2manydjs invite Eclair Fifi & Erol Alkan, Helena Hauff b2b IMOGEN, Vanyfox, VHOOR, Nia Archives, the festival is sure to inspire. Sevdaliza

Iranian-born singer, songwriter, director and composer, Sevdaliza, is not afraid to make a statement as she blends trip-hop, R&B, punk, club sounds and touches of classical music in physical and emotional live shows sure to take the audience’s breath away. Catch Sevdaliza at Sónar by Night on Friday 22nd March. 

Annegret Fiedler

As Perel, German producer, vocalist and DJ, Annegret Fiedler, infuses daydreams and the extraterrestrial universe with her italo disco, acid and new wave hybrid electronic music. Perel will be at Sónar by Day on Saturday 23rd March.

Tommy Cash

Tommy Cash is more than just an iconoclastic hip-hop artist, he’s an anti-cultural icon. The Estonian rapper presents absurd digital creations and surreal worldviews in his unconventional trap, experimental electronica and hyperpop beats. Shygirl

Blazing her path to club-girl stardom, UK singer and songwriter Shygirl will introduce her brand new show ‘Club Shy’ to Sónar by Day on Sunday, March 24th. Shygirl’s upbeat live reworks of provocative, tender and sensual tracks are something you don’t want to miss. 

ZenGxrl

An exercise in eclecticism, Lisbon native ZenGxrl is no stranger to global sounds. As a DJ whose motto is ‘let the energy flow’, ZenGxrl is dynamic and unexpected. Catch her at Sónar by Day on Sunday, March 24th as part of the Enchufada showcase, connecting the city’s batida and kuduro heritage with the diverse currents of the global afro-club underground scene.
