Rightfully seated at top of the charts next to the female-dominating line-up of Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, and Megan Thee Stallion, pop polymath Doja Cat is claiming her place in the music industry’s top tier. After sending the world into a Tik Tok frenzy with her viral hit “Say So,” the singer naturally capitalized on the track’s maximum hype with a remix featuring Nicki the Harajuki Barbie herself. Now a chart-topping regular, Doja Cat’s musical prowess is virtually unstoppable, and with no surprise, the artist’s “Say So” remix found just as much success on both the global rankings and the popular video-sharing app’s platform as the original song. As part of our High Volume series featured in V125: Supermodel Summer, V spoke with the booked-and-busy vocalist about all things vacation and relaxation.
