It’s been 15 years since Lizzie McGuire has been on the air which makes us feel pretty ancient. The Disney Channel original series is held near and dear to our tween hearts, from finding your celeb look alike on a school trip to Italy, to getting advice from your sassy cartoon alter ego. But never fear, all our prayers or nostalgia have been answered with the launch of Disney’s new streaming platform Disney+.

Aside from adding tons of our choice Disney classics, the streaming platform promises new spinoffs on old favorites. Back in September when Hilary Duff debuted blonde locks, rumors first started to spark of a Lizzie McGuire reboot. Duff practically broke the internet when she posted a photo with bangs similar to her old character’s style. The wispy light blonde bang is a grown-up version of her 15-year-old self while still maintaining the same Lizzie we all know and love. We also noticed Duff is wearing her original “L” necklace in some of the social media posts. While the Lizzie McGuire reboot hasn’t hit the platform just yet, expect a new and improved Lizzie described as a “flea market shopper and a Brooklyn cool girl” which sounds pretty iconic to us.
