Ski season is upon us, and Louis Vuitton’s new ski collection, designed by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, is waterproof, windproof and working for you, in style. Holder for your ski pass? Check. Goggle pockets? Check. Refined, clean-cut wool jacket with removable shearling collar? Check. The 2025 Men’s Ski Collection, constructed with the glacial temperatures and the mod luxuries of ski culture in mind, is as functional as it is fashionable.
One of the collection’s defining attributes is the creation and incorporation of the Damoflage Snow pattern, a variation on Pharrell’s existing Damoflage designーthe fresh take on the classic house pattern of Damier chequers done with camouflageーin the form of an icy off-white tone, evocative of snowy mountainscapes. The pattern can be found on the ski and shell suits, which are not only stylish, but sustainable as well, made using recycled polyamide and polyester and lined with organic cotton.
The house’s footwear is a feat in itself, with a shoe for every skier’s dilemma. The LV Blizzard Boot is a beast. Waterproof and covered in neoprene, a more durable form of rubber, the durable boot also includes a snow-proof ankle drawstring and built-in sock. The LV Trainers are transformed into waterproof sneakers, and for the inevitable champagne-popping of aprés ski, the LV Footprint low boot, in glacier blue shearling or natural fox fur, offers much-needed warmth with a fashionable flair.
The new collection has made it possible to craft the complete skiing outfit, accessories included. There’s the heather gray reversible wool beanie and matching scarf, as well as the water-repellent canvas bags in LV’s distinctive orange hues. Monogrammed, knitted cushions and blankets shield against the frigid temps, and the (water and fog resistance, UV protected, three-layer insulated, adjustable strap included) LV Snowfall Ski Mask functions as the ultimate form of protection.
For the finale, Louis Vuitton will release a limited number of the newest edition LV Snowboard. Handmade by artisans in the French Alps with Damier and Monogram emblems gracing the poplar and beechwood board, the LV Snowboard is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Whether devoted to the slopes or just along for the oontz-oontz thrums and mulled wines of aprés-ski, Pharrell’s latest collection for Louis Vuitton is a fashion fit made for all. So lace up your LV Blizzards and slip on your pearl-embroidered cable knits, and pizza/French fry to your heart’s content.
