Getting Ready: Here’s How Salem Mitchell Goes to the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show
Model Salem Mitchell captures an exclusive photo diary for V as she gets ready for and attends the Louis Vuitton show in San Diego.
For Resort 2023, Louis Vuitton took to the Salk Institute in San Diego, California. Stars, celebs, and models flooded into the architectural landscape to see the new collection unveiled—and V got the inside scoop from model Salem Mitchell, a friend of Louis Vuitton.
“I had the pleasure of attending my second Louis Vuitton Cruise show, but this time, the show was hosted in my hometown of San Diego, California,” Salem writes for V. “This was such an exciting trip for me because this was the first time I’ve been to a major luxury fashion event in San Diego. I brought my family along to watch me get ready to make the moment even more special. Here’s a diary of my day.”
Returning to her hometown of San Diego for the show, Salem captured her day in photos for V, from getting ready at the Alila Marea Beach Resort to front-seat views of the collection and an afterparty with a DJ set by Grimes. So, how does an L.A. model go to S.D. for LV?
Below, Salem Mitchell’s photo diary of the day gives an exclusive look.
