How to Watch the Oscar’s this Weekend
The biggest night in film will be taking place this Sunday, but here’s how and where to watch
This year’s 93rd Academy Awards will air on Sunday, April 25 at 8 p.m. EST or5 p.m. PST live on ABC. Viewers can start with ABC News’ “Oscar Countdown, LIVE!” which starts at 1 p.m. EST. During the three hour pre-show, several ABC contributors will make appearances for some commentary on awards season.
The other special, “Oscars Countdown, LIVE!” will begin at 4:30 p.m. on ABC News Live, which will include two hours of celebrity interviews.
At 6:30 p.m. will be the “Oscars: Into the Spotlight” hosted by Ariana DeBose ad Lil Rel Howery. Several artists including Celeste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom Jr., Laura Pausini, Diane Warren, Molly Sandén, and Daniel Pemberton will perform their nominated best original songs.
For those who will not be home for the night, those with a participating TV provider can watch at abc.com or on the ABC app to see if Andra Day, Viola Davis, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand, or Carey Mulligan will win for best actress in a leading role.
