Currently taking the world by storm with her major success in Squid Game, South Korean model and actress HoYeon Jung’s acting debut is anything but ordinary. Enrolling in acting lessons between modelling gigs, Jung, who plays pickpocketer Kang Sae-byeok in the series, was signed to Korean talent agency Saram back in January of 2020.

Always being a friendly face here at V, Jung began her modeling career at age 15, and was working as a freelance model by 16. She’s walked for international shows including Opening Ceremony, Marc Jacobs and Fendi as well as starred in campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermes, just to name a few.

Below, we’ve gathered all the times the South Koren beauty has been a V superstar in various V editorials

Mysterious and enigmatic, this editorial shoot by Nick Knight shows Jung in classic high-fashion flair. With her hair gelled to her head and perfectly styled with glitter, Jung exudes grandeur. Draped in various poses, the dreamlike feel of the shoot instantly captures her talent and high-status as a model.

With a blaze of fiery red-hair, we get a glimpse of Jung’s former signature hair-color in this Nicola Formichetti editorial. Curled and framing her face to perfection, her coiffed hair pairs perfectly with the royal essence of the shoot.
