Rather than taking to the stage of Coachella, Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) along with actress Jenna Ortega opted for the ferris wheel to tease their upcoming movie “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”

“Hurry Up Tomorrow,” set to release in theaters on May 16, is a psychological thriller that follows a musician (Tesfaye) dealing with insomnia as he discovers his truest self after meeting a mysterious stranger (Ortega).

Tesfaye and Ortega’s publicity stint lasted all three days of Coachella’s second weekend. It’s only the latest public promotion done after the surprise concert Tesfaye did at CinemaCon earlier this month in Las Vegas.

Tickets for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” are on sale now for early fan event screenings on Wednesday, May 14.
