Iceberg Resort 2020 Delivers a Colorful Display of British Style
Three words alone sum up Iceberg’s latest Resort collection — vibrant, bold, and undeniably British.
Three words alone sum up Iceberg’s latest Resort collection — vibrant, bold, and undeniably British. The collection appeared as part of Iceberg’s Menswear show, which also featured a triumphant fanfare of color and punk influences. The women’s pieces offered an element of sophistication lightly explored in the menswear collection, which largely favored a streetwear feel. However, just as the men’s collection did, Iceberg Resort 2020 stays true to the brand’s disruptive, against-the-grain appeal.
Monochromatic looks owned the runway. Standout looks from the show included a sunshine yellow double-breasted power suit, a neon coral skirt suit, and an all-denim ensemble printed with painter Peter Blake’s artwork. The collection included plenty of denim-on-denim, athleisure-inspired tops and track pants, and Pop Art elements that feel at home in fashion-forward and art-centric London. As this is only James Long’s second year as creative director, we can only hope that this latest success is just the tip of the iceberg.
