On Friday, Calvin Klein discreetly revealed a new logo via Instagram. The brand's new design is displayed in a minimalistic, sans-serif typeface and was described as "a return to the spirit of the original," and is certainly a marker of things to come under the direction of Raf Simons.
Made in collaboration with art director and graphic designer Peter Saville, the new logo brings a fresh approach to the classic American brand (the two collaborated over a decade ago for Simons's own line). The logo is one of many recent announcements under Simons's new reign at the label, having just released a first look at his debut collection with a series of "ads" that feature Millie Bobbie Brown and others.
Simons's first collection for Calvin Klein will show on February 10 during New York Fashion Week.
