Sónar Lisboa returned for its fourth edition, transforming Parque Eduardo VII and the historic Pavilhão Carlos Lopes into a pulsating hub of electronic music, innovation, and creativity. The festival featured 43 performances from artists representing 16 countries, showcasing talent from global icons to emerging local acts.

Headliners included legendary UK duo Underworld, techno innovator Richie Hawtin with his immersive live show DEX EFX X0X, and Siberian techno luminary Nina Kraviz. Other standout performances featured ModeselektorMarcel Dettmann presenting his new live set My Own ShadowMax Cooper with his audiovisual experience Lattice 3D/AVAnetha debuting her visual show EXHIBIT and KI/KI.

The festival also spotlighted Lisbon’s vibrant local scene through curated stage takeovers. Príncipe teamed up with Colombia’s TraTraTrax to present artists like DJ Firmeza b2b Nick LeónBitter Babe, and DJ LycoxEnchufada showcased talents such as Mu540Hagan, and Rita Vian. Meanwhile, Dengo Club brought together San Farafina, Banu and Lua de Santana celebrating queer, Black, and Latin club culture.

Overall, some of V’s favorite sets included Julianna Huxtable, ISAbella, Firmeza y Nick Leon, Clementaum, Dee Diggs, Bashkka b2b Ogazon, KI/KI and Jeff Mills.
