In Conversation with Annie Leibovitz at Moncler

To inaugurate its new creative community series at its Fifth Avenue flagship, Moncler welcomed legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz for an intimate conversation on her career, creative vision, and long standing relationship with the house
There are few ways to spend an evening quite like sitting in close company with Annie Leibovitz. One of the most influential photographers of our time, Leibovitz has spent more than five decades capturing the artists, cultural figures, and powerhouses who have come to define contemporary life.

At Moncler’s Fifth Avenue flagship, an intimate audience of Parsons students, clients, and friends of both the house and Leibovitz gathered to hear the photographer in conversation. Joined by her longtime agent and studio manager, Karen Mulligan, Leibovitz reflected on her career, her creative approach, and her enduring impact on the medium—sharing insights from a body of work that has helped shape the visual language of our time.

Having photographed six consecutive Moncler campaigns between 2014 and 2017, Leibovitz was a fitting choice to inaugurate the brand’s new community-building series at its recently opened Fifth Avenue flagship. Designed to bring together local creatives connected to the house, the initiative marks a new chapter in Moncler’s engagement with the city’s creative community. And with Leibovitz as its first guest, it began with a conversation about the power of photography to shape culture.
