Inside the Exclusive Launch Party for Sans Gêne
Unisex brand Sans Gêne celebrated its official launch with a star-studded dinner in Paris.
Unisex clothing brand Sans Gêne celebrated its launch last weekend with an exclusive dinner party in Paris. After showing their first collection last month for the pre-fall 2022 season, the brand officially kicked things off at Parisian hotspot LouLou during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Hosted by Bloody Osiris and Zack Bia, the intimate dinner was attended by the brand’s founder Caroline McCaul, as well as familiar faces like Addison Rae, Jaden Smith, Luka Sabbat, Tremaine Emory, and Bladi.
To go along with the dinner, the brand announced the launch of a capsule collaboration with designer Bloody Dior. All attendees were gifted a one-of-a-kind Sans Gêne x Bloody Dior shirt.
Sans Gêne is a groundbreaking brand, supporting intersectionality and creating a space for multi-hyphenates while promoting social commentary within the fashion industry. As its name implies (Sans Gêne means “without embarrassment” in French) the brand stands firm in its commitment to delineating the binary constructs of both fashion and broader society as a whole. In their words, the brand is here to “disrupt the labels that routinely divide us” and “mobilize fashion as not only a medium of expression, but a vehicle of actionable change” though a series of charitable donations.
As was shown in the pre-fall 2022 collection, each Sans Gêne item is unisex and modular. All items are made in Italy, with an emphasis on luxury, artisanal quality.
The pre-fall collection is available online, alongside a limited-edition version of the shirt given to the launch party guests, at sansgenestudios.com.
