Chanel has gone and done it again. This Fashion Week, major designers have taken us to a high school pool, a sensory-heightened yoga class, and various other unorthodox locations. Now, the fashion house is taking us into the woods for their Fall Winter 2018 collection.

For the FW18 show, Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld transformed Paris' Grand Palais into a dark forest landscape, complete with leaf-covered floors and lit up trees to line the runway. From the invitations to the forest scene backdrop behind the guests, the fall fantasy seemed to expand beyond just the show itself, making it one of the most memorable runways to date.

The collection showcases the iconic tweed and plaid textiles that we've come to expect from the brand, with new elements of gold and red to make the patterns come to life. Kaia Gerber, Chanel's golden girl, wowed the audience with a new take on the LBD, and Lily Allen accompanied Carla Bruni to sit front row at the show. The collection is, in essence, boldly glamorous, slightly androgynous, and made to stand out.
