Introducing ‘Coco’: Casablanca x New Balance’s Latest Campaign Video Featuring Coco Gauff

The 17-year-old trailblazing tennis player shows off her athleticism and style, as well as the luxe collab.

Tennis star Coco Gauff is a powerhouse, both on and off the court. With two singles titles already under her belt, she is poised for a successful season at the upcoming French Open. On top of all this, Gauff is also an official ambassador at New Balance Athletics, where she recently starred in their new campaign video for their latest collaboration with après-sport fashion house, Casablanca.

The stylized video, shot in Gauff’s hometown of Miami by David M. Helman, shows off the Casablanca x New Balance 327 and 237 Red Monogram edition. The beachside shots and those of Gauff seated in an all white mansion surrounded by flowers and lush greenery, contrasted with the courtside action shots, showcase both brands’ lifestyle-focused joie de vivre ethos, with a touch of luxury.

Gauff could not be happier to be a part of it – and to show a different side of herself.

“New Balance and Casablanca have always brought a fresh take on elegance and sport through their collaborations. Getting to mix my world of tennis and my love for fashion was a super fun experience being involved with this project,” says Gauff.

The new Casablanca x New Balance style follows the widely successful Monogram 327 and 237 Drop I, reimagining the luxe style in a darker red hue. This is the second collaborative release of the popular new 237 style, which features a ‘70s style wedged heel, suede, mesh and nylon upper, in addition to Casablanca’s signature monogram design.

The sleek design of the Monogram 237 features a wedged heel, suede, mesh & nylon upper, along with Casablanca’s signature monogram design.

It seems Gauff is the perfect choice to highlight this collaboration, where upscale meets active.

“Casablanca and I are thrilled to have Coco Gauff as an ambassador for the Casablanca x New Balance 327/237 campaign,” says Casablanca designer, Charaf Tajer. “Coco is a brilliant athlete who, at the age of just 17, has the world at her feet. She has continuously shown integrity and elegance, both on and off the court.”

The Monogram 327 style is slightly chunkier and sportier.

The Casablanca and New Balance 327 and 237 Dark Monogram edition will launch globally with select retailers this Friday. But it’s best to act fast; this hot collection has already flown off of Casablanca’s website.
