Introducing the Self-Feeding Gaming Headset from…Pringles?
We’ve found the holiday gag gift for the gamer in your life who has everything.
Pringles has created a gaming headset prototype that feeds you chips while you play, because why not? Now before we get ahead of ourselves, it’s important to state that this is not, in fact, a real product, but rather Pringles having a little fun with us.
But‚for the sake of fun—let’s say you just can’t put down your Switch and you are craving some sour cream and onion crunchy goodness, well then, sir, do we have the headset for you! The Hunger Hammer, as it’s called, is made up of 3D printed components and allows its wearer to summon Pringles directly to their mouth by either pressing a button on the headset or using a Bluetooth remote control. How that is less obstructive than grabbing a chip from a plate or bowl is yet to be explained. Though anything is easier than trying to fit an adult-sized hand into the Pringle container, so maybe they’re on to something here. Or perhaps the urge to constantly consume Pringles at a rapid-fire rate is just too high. As the ancient proverb does go, “once thou poppeth, thou just can’t stoppeth.”
The folks over at Engadget did their best to review the product in earnest. Check out their video below.
