Japanese label Issey Miyake set out into the world their Spring/Summer 2021 collection on Friday, titling it “Unpack The Compact.” Designer Satoshi Kondo said of the collection, “I want you to keep your clothes compact and deliver them to people all over the world, and feel the surprise and joy of opening them.”

The collection includes a vest that molds to your body, a poncho coat able to be folded up into a bag, transformable pieces that can be connected with fasteners, knits with the ability to expand and contract, and a series where a painting of a room can be adjusted and changed over time.
