Red signifies the introduction of the new season and the exude of a playful yet elevated expression with a confident edge – featured in the color blocking, tattersall checks, and a big star print. Yellow offers sophistication mixed with sporty vibes – featured in the statement suits and functional fashion in daylily yellow, tiger brown, and black. Offering intriguing looks with a creative twist, the third and final part of the collection uses contrasts and bold prints in shades of blue, green, and gray.
With a gracious nod to the brand’s birthplace of New York and Stockholm, J.Lindeberg delves into the past to boldly envisage a visceral new future. Built with versatility in mind, this promotes enabled styles from the different drops and color stories to be mixed and matched while still maintaining a cohesive look. “This collection is designed with versatility in mind and is an energetic infusion combining big city vibes with an outdoor attitude,” shares Head of Design, Neil Lewty. “Taking inspiration from the cities of our birth, New York and Stockholm, we start in the urban environment and transition through to make our way to the mountains and apply our fissionability to the great environment surrounding them.” Among the looks of the FW22 fashion collection are versatile yet comfortable modern suits with 4-way stretch, a tailored blazer and slim pants made from sustainable chrome-free lamb nappa, 100% organic twill sets, and a soft corduroy suit in yellow crafted from premium Italian cotton.
The outerwear program includes high-performance pieces, such as water-resistant parkas made from 100% recycled polyester, a padded jacket made in Italy with contrasting fabrics, and this season’s wool coat with a subtle geo print in jacquard fabrics that are exclusive for J.Lindeberg. Sporting the resources for stylish redesigning and city hiking, the collection also introduces a hiking-inspired high top and a low-top shoe which can be worn both when walking the hiking trails and city streets.
Building on the spirit of “Aim Higher,” J.Lindeberg’s sport collection is an energetic infusion that interplays big city vibes with an outdoor attitude. It includes multi-functional garments and hybrid styles that are brought together by a monogram Bridge swirl print in four color stories: red, green, blue, and yellow.
Key styles include a jacquard knitted athleisure set, golf bags in several prints, and a hybrid jacket to complement the popular ski pants in the Stanford program. The jackets are made in a softshell material and include premium details such as an inner jacket and luxurious linings. The collection also features a down jacket that promotes a new quilting method using glue instead of stitches. To reach their sustainability goals, 80 percent of the styles use certified fabrics, and the best-selling TX Shell fabric has been remade to only include recycled polyester.
