The turbulent summer months require versatile clothes ready for any occasion.
With this in mind, Swedish fashion brand J. Lindeberg went across the ocean for their newest collection, ‘Coast to Coast,’ based around blending the lively coast of Miami with the more relaxed west coast of Sweden.
Using sustainably-sourced fabrics to combine more relaxed looks with bold designs and vivid colors, ‘Coast to Coast’ is all about blending the extremes. The menswear and womenswear pieces range from classic summer styles, with lightweight short-sleeve shirts and shorts sets, to more traditional staples, with denim pants and knitwear, intended to be worn on both the shores and the streets.
J. Lindeberg utilized two separate color stories, the first built around the sweeping skies and seas. With blues, white, and turquoise on styles including skin-tight-flexible tops, beach sets with a tencel-cotton blend fabric, and textured button-up knitwear made with organic cotton, the pieces keep the cool nature of the ocean with pops of bright colors.
The second color story is based around nature and land, with more earth tones and muted shades of rusty orange, beige, and off-white. Included is a suede shirt made from chrome-free leather, a lyocell bomber, and sets made with a new tencel-linen blend. A hand-drawn version of J. Lindeberg’s classic ‘JL’ diamond pattern on shirts and swim shorts round out the looks with a nod towards the brand’s history.
