Have you ever wondered what Home Alone would look like if it was styled by Jacquemus? Film director Stella Blackmon has, bringing her vision to life with Jacquemus’s latest winter campaign.
Set in the grand halls of a chateau, the campaign features snapshots of an ensemble of siblings who have been left unattended by their parents. In the uninterrupted leisure time of the holidays, independence soon becomes boredom.
Styled in a pinstripe pajama set and a pale pink Oxford shirt with a hidden button closure, brother and sister cook up a nutritious lunch: sandwiches stacked with potato chips and spread with Nutella. Under the table, crumbs are sneakily fed to the family dog.
Meanwhile, upstairs, a beauty salon commences. Dressed in white cotton dresses, a younger sister works tirelessly on her elder sister’s hair to create the perfect messy updo.
The family comes together for an impromptu fashion show on the grand stairway, presenting looks from the winter collection. One look features the Aviatore jacket in dark brown with a shearling fur trim, paired with a leather A-line skirt and the high Tourni boots. Another look lets a white tiered halter dress speak for itself, while a ruby-red double-breasted coat is styled with a matching scarf, tights, and heels for a monochromatic moment.
After a long day running through the grounds of the chateau, the siblings gather for a timer-pic family portrait, commemorating the day of unsupervised bliss.
