Jeremy Scott’s Summons Classic Glamour for Moschino F/W 22 Womenswear Campaign

With the minds of Scott x Steven Meisel working in alliance, this campaign is a specialized approach to this year’s Fall/Winter 2022 Womenswear.

In anticipation of Moschino’s latest Fall/Winter 2022 Womenswear Couture exhibition, the fashion house unveils its latest ad campaign for the upcoming season. Reimagined by the infamous Jeremy Scott, the designer conveys a striking interplay of ultra glamorized and vintage while maintaining commercial appeal. Drawing upon the film “2001: A Space Odyssey” as a visual hallmark that initiated inspiration for Scott.

With the participation of a star-studded cast such as Imaan Hammam, Iris Law, Mariacarla Boscono, Mila van Eeten, Shalom Harlow, and Sora Choi, photographed in black and white by Steven Meisel, the campaign guarantees captivation. Steven Meisel is a renowned American fashion photographer, who obtained popularity and critical acclaim during his time working with Vogue and Vogue Italia, as well as his photographs of his friend Madonna in her 1992 book Sex.

Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the campaign includes sculpted gowns, exaggerated headpieces, and appealing new angles on corsets. With an emphasis on the element of time shown through the added time pieces whether as a complementing side piece or the heart of the dress, the ambiguous imagery and importance of time shown in the 2001: A Space Odyssey is further exemplified here.
