Singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark proves she’s one of the music industry’s biggest Cool Girls yet again—this time not by dropping her own music, but instead, a collection of spooky songs to get us into the Halloween spirit.

 

“HAUNTED TACO” is a collection of songs on her Spotify spanning over two hours and ranges in artists from Nancy Sinatra to The Neighbourhood to Tyler, the Creator. 

 

 

 

A delightful mix of genres and compilation showcasing her own tastes, the playlist is a quintessential Halloween accessory; clearly, the rock ‘n’ roll royalty (Chrome Hearts’ Richard Stark and Laurie Lynn Stark are her parents, and Cher is her godmother), model bestie (Bella Hadid is her BFF) and musician (her new single “Die Young” just got a music video) has a few more tricks up her sleeve, an impeccable skill for playlist-making being one of them.

 

Stark has made it a habit (and hopefully a tradition) to share her Halloween favorites with the world each time October rolls around, last year delighting us with her favorite beauty products. Her Halloween playlist this year is a sure sign that just because there’s a pandemic doesn’t mean this year’s spooky season has to be completely amiss—whether you’re blasting it through Spotify while putting on your costume to take Instagram pics or listening to it on repeat well into November, Stark’s playlist is one of the sweetest things you can’t trick-or-treat.
