Progressing last year’s partnership with the Lower Eastside Girls Club, Scarlett Johansson and David Yurman once again join forces for another dazzling charitable collaboration. What you may be thinking is, what do Scarlett Johansson, the Yurman family, and the Lower Eastside Girls Club have in common? For one, they’re all native New Yorkers.

There’s also their shared zeal for empowerment through creative expression. For those unfamiliar, the Lower Eastside Girls Club (LESGC) engages with young women and gender-expansive youth of color throughout New York City to pave the way for successful futures. Educative, creative, and ever-inclusive, the LESGC celebrates curiosities through after-school, weekend, and summer programs. Spanning STEM, Arts, Digital Media, Sound, Wellness, Civic Engagement, Leadership, and everything in between, the organization focuses on elevating the mindset of the youth it engages with through education.

Considering these factors, it only seems natural that the Lower Eastside Girls Club was selected as the organization for David Yurman’s charitable collaboration.

Johansson, a native New Yorker and an actress also harnessing empowerment through creative expression, took to renewing the collaboration for a second round. Curating an exquisite collection for the campaign, she and David Yurman added an irresistible flair of luxury to the concept of a charitable partnership.

First up is the Sagittarius Zodiac Amulet in 18K yellow gold. As the name suggests, the amulet borrows from the zodiac sign’s fervent desire to explore and translates it into the simulacrum of the archer. Then, there’s the dainty reimagination of the Evil Eye in an 18K gold amulet glistening with the ineffable brilliance of diamonds.

All the while, a Pavé Initial Pinky Ring in emerald and silver add a splash of luscious green to the equation with equal statement and elegance. If you’re feeling geometrical, David Yurman’s Carlyle Hoop Earrings cut away at that craving in dazzling hexagonal hoops drenched in 18K gold.

These are just a few members of the mesmerizing cast of jewels David Yurman and Johansson have gathered for the campaign.

While 18K gold and glistening precious stones may be the apple of your eye, the luxury jeweler also makes the statement that anyone can contribute to the cause with the release of its Pistachio Green Cable Bracelet. A rubber bracelet in a charming vernal hue offers the Lower Eastside Girls Club 100% of its net profits, totaling $16 of a donation from its $20 retail price.

“We are incredibly grateful to David Yurman and Scarlett Johansson for so generously supporting our mission. Founded by community mothers in 1996, the Lower Eastside Girls Club has grown to become a global model of innovative youth education,” says Ebonie Simpson and Jenny Dembrow, Co-Executive Directors of the Lower Eastside Girls Club. “We honor David Yurman’s investment in our young people, which helps them acquire the knowledge, skills, and guidance to effect positive change.”

Trace back to 2022. In the last arc of David Yurman’s collaboration with the organization, the luxury jeweler raised over $300,000 from the sales of the curated collection and the private shopping event held at its New York City flagship store.

This time around, the campaign features a sun-kissed Johansson. Like the glittering waves of the ocean behind her, David Yurman’s collection, too, soaks up the sunlight, radiating in glints of timeless glamour.

Johansson’s curated assortment is available at David Yurman from April 13 through June 30, 2023.
